They’re very different in the small details, but when it comes to the plot, they’re very similar. Both have a vampire falling in love with a human girl. Both have love triangles. Both have the human girl ending up as a vampire. Both have werewolves as well at some point in time.
If I had to choose one, I’d say that the Vampire Diaries are the better of the two. There’s more originality thrown into them. I couldn’t explain it all but Twilight is kind of the run-of-the-mill, cutesy romance book where they end up together at the end with little standing in the way except for the over dramatized issues that they create themselves. Vampire Diaries have a lot more thrown into them than just teen-agnst.
Well in a way yes they are pretty similar, they both involve a human girl falling in love with a vampire, they both have unique triangle relationships aswell, Twilight Bella, Edward and Jacob, Vamp Diaries, Elena, Stephen and Daemon. Though in twilight it also has werewolves and in vamp diaries theres witches. !!!!!Spoiler alert!!!!
