it all depend on ur type of vampires. there are sooooo many different vampire-LIKE creatures from just about ever culture that has EVER existed dating all the way back to ancient Sumeria.

NOT all vampire-LIKE creatures have a vulnerablility to the sun. Dracula could walk around all he wanted in the day time. He wasnt as powerful as he was at night so the sun deminished his powers.

Also, ancient sources NEVER said they couldnt walk around i the sun. In fact there was one type that was active ONLY during the hottest time of the day.

Others who escaped from the grave JUST to "PESTER" their wives and get them pregnant. YES those ancient vampires COULD make babies! lol thats how u get creatures like BLADE who was half human and half vampire who could TRACK and KILL vampires.

SO do some reseach of what KIND of vampire u want ORRRR just pick on and change it to meet UR needs. MAKE them YOURS like Twilight did with the SPARKING vampires.

just PLEASE dont make any of them cops! that is diffenelt OVERUSED and OLD and BORING.

You can make them a Gothic-style character and give them a black umbrella (female), or just give them sunglasses and a hat (male). Also depending on the gender, the umbrella can be accompanied by a dark-themed, long-sleeve dress for females, or leather clothes for males.

Okay vampire could or could not have ever existed but it doesn’t matter and all you other guys you are wrong, vervain was used in earlier centuries carrying back to the time of Jesus Christ was used as a holy herb, it’s said that it can deter a vampire but it also weakens them, some of you guys should do research before you reply to something, idiots

Because Klaus had compelled her to stay in the room before she took the vervain she was still bound by that compulsion until he released her. Although she could not be compelled to do anything new while on the vervain she was still bound to any compulsions which may have occurred before she began taking it. That is why she was not able to leave until the most recent episode when Klaus told her to.

She couldn’t leave the room because he compelled her before she had the vervain.

Even after she had the vervain it didn’t ‘erase’ the previous compulsions.

So since Klaus compelled her to stay in the room she had to stay until he let her go.

The vervain she had protected her from any compulsions Klaus would have given her after.

So when Klaus let her go ZOOM out of there as fast as a rock falling from a cliff.

That’s a good point. They could of just done that. But.. Damon didn’t know Stefan had given her a vervain necklace. Until, afterwards (before Damon mauled Coach Tanner), Damon talked to Stefan and discovered he did that. Now, knowing that Elena had vervain on herself he could of done that.
Ben, on the other hand, remember hes a new a vampire because Anna just turned him. He is new on everything Vampire. Idk if you remember when Ben did try to compel her and then Elena pretended too. Ben walked away and then Elena opened the door trying to run but then Anna was just outside. Ben told Anna that he compelled and it didn’t work and then Anna responded "she has vervain on her" compelling wouldn’t work.

the only thing that works on all vampires, all the time, is garlic and decapitation, stakes were only used to hold vampires down while people beheaded them and filled there mouths with holly, read some of the original vampire legends will you, hollywood gets a lot of stuff wrong
