No, seriously. This stuff really works. We read it on the interweb and everything online is true. Here’s what you need to know to stay safe from vampires. Just follow this easy 3-Step Plan:

is it possible to purchase a Vervain plant?
i’ve looked on line and can’t seem to find anything.
Hi Rob, I can’t find it either and I searched for days when I was setting up this site. I’m pretty sure Spring Hill Nursery had them at one time, but now I don’t see them. Then best you can do is buy seeds and grown your own.
Hi. I was wondering where you can buy the seeds? Do most nurserys or places you buy seeds at sell Vervain?
@Brittany, you can buy the seed right here on this page. Just click the name of the item on the line that have a check mark under the Seeds column. I have not seen them in nurserys unless you can find a section that specializes in wild natural-type of seeds.
It must work….My family has had it planted around my ancestoral home for 100 years, and noone has ever been attacked or turned by a vampire

I recently bought dry vervain. I was surprised that it has no odor at all. I was wondering if this is normal, because on the show when Elena receives her vervain locket she immediatly picks up the smell. Where could I buy dry vervain that has retained its fragrance?
@Bunny, just because she smelled it doesn’t mean it has a fragrance. It was nothing more than a knee-jerk reaction she had, just like smelling flowers or food. Dried plant material tends to lose its fragrance. Dried roses don’t smell either unless you treat them with fragrance oil.
Think of all the dried material they make potpourri out of. It doesn’t smell when it’s dried. It has to be infused with fragrance oils.
