well duh, they mentioned that it is going to be different so the people who read the books will be surprised in the series
Books seem to be difficult to translate to screen. I read the books after I started watching the series and they are different. Same with True Blood and the Sookie novels. But (both) the shows are "based on" the books, and are best viewed as separate things altogether. That’s how I manage to enjoy the books and the show, by looking at them as completely different to start with.
i love the show and im almost done with the second book of the series. personally i dont know how you get annoyed with the differences. Sure the show is different, but there wudnt be a purpose for the show if it was EXACTLY like the book. Then you’d know exactly wat happenes next. Its like, whats the point of the suspense and surprise ya kno? Thats just my opinion
Yea they are not the same but I Love It! I honestly think the show is better than the book…so far
Of course it doesn’t follow the books closely. What’s the point in making the show then if you’ve read the books? It’s not Harry Potter.
